How Starbucks plans to improve diversity in its ranks

Starbucks has announced a goal to boost the number of people of color within its company by 30% among corporate employees and 40% among its manufacturing and retail workforce by 2025. The company will link executive compensation to this goal from 2021 and roll out mandatory anti-bias training for executives, launch a mentorship program for employees of color, and incorporate anti-bias materials into recruitment, performance assessments and development.
